  Stunning Sri Lanka - This was our first visit to Sri Lanka & what an incredible experience. We absolutely loved everything we did throughout our 8 day tour. Sanda was our guide & driver... read more & what a passionate & knowledgeable man he is. Nothing was too much trouble for Sanda. His air conditioned van is extremely comfortable & we felt very relaxed with him behind the wheel (driving in Sri Lanka can be very challenging!) We were so impressed with Sanda & his willingness to accommodate our interests. Adapting the itinerary in accordance with the weather was clever & definitely worked in our favour. Seeing wild elephants in the morning & exploring ancient temples in the afternoon ( with lunch planned by Sanda at a local restaurant eating delicious food prepared by locals & enjoyed with an icy cold beer!) All of our hotels were exceptional and again carefully selected to suit our needs. Sri Lanka is a beautiful country & of course we can't wait to return ( of course we will be carefully planning our next trip under the guidance of Sanda & his tour company ) Thank you so much for sharing your country & your time with us Sanda. He had all the insider knowledge and seemed to know everyone! My wife and I travelled in luxury by ourselves. His van is spacious, clean and he is a very safe driver which is hard to find! Despite the difficulties with the economy and availability of fuel etc Sanda was so professional and helpful with his contacts and local knowledge that the situation did not detract at all from our holiday.
Seeing all the main tourist sites, eating meals prepared by local villagers, safari trips in the national parks, climbing lion mountain - everything was an adventure and a pleasure.
