My husband and I did 18 nights, and my father joined us for the first 14 too. Everything was seamless and enjoyable due to Sandamal's organisation, knowledge and connections - he will find the you the best of the best everywhere you go!

I've done lots of travel before on group tours, and solo. But never like this on a private tour. In previous group tours it obviously isn't tailored to you exactly and is around the same cost if not more still! You also have no say in the itinerary when going on these larger group tours. And going solo "figuring it out when you get there" is great if you are travelling for months and don't mind spending hours every few days on your trip planning things. Whereas this holiday, we wanted to just rock up and not have to think! All the communicating and planning was done with myself and Sandamal prior.

Sri Lanka is now my favourite country to holiday. It is far more beautiful than expected, as are the people. The hotels are immaculate, we chose 4 and 5 star and found them still so cheap compared to Australia!! Sandamal's van is super comfortable and he supplies you with snacks and drinking water each day too. I highly recommend booking with Sri Lanka Tour Plan!

Despite the difficulties with the economy and availability of fuel etc Sanda was so professional and helpful with his contacts and local knowledge that the situation did not detract at all from our holiday.
Seeing all the main tourist sites, eating meals prepared by local villagers, safari trips in the national parks, climbing lion mountain - everything was an adventure and a pleasure.
