I've done lots of travel before on group tours, and solo. But never like this on a private tour. In previous group tours it obviously isn't tailored to you exactly and is around the same cost if not more still! You also have no say in the itinerary when going on these larger group tours. And going solo "figuring it out when you get there" is great if you are travelling for months and don't mind spending hours every few days on your trip planning things. Whereas this holiday, we wanted to just rock up and not have to think! All the communicating and planning was done with myself and Sandamal prior.

Sri Lanka is now my favourite country to holiday. It is far more beautiful than expected, as are the people. The hotels are immaculate, we chose 4 and 5 star and found them still so cheap compared to Australia!!
